Canyoning (also referred as canyoneering in America) typically involves walking, climbing, jumping, abseiling and swimming to navigate your way through rivers, gorges and waterfalls in remote and rugged locations. Our Canyoning experience takes place in the waterfall country of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, also used as a training ground for the SAS and SBS. Suitably kitted out in a wet suit, buoyancy aid and helmet, your group will take the most exciting route to include tobogganing down rapids, traversing rock walls, jumping across boulders, scrambling up rock faces, crawling behind and jumping off waterfalls and exploring hidden caves. The day would not be complete without taking the plunge at Loonies Leap! There is no better place to do Canyoning in Wales.
The Minimum age for this activity is 10 years old, unlike some competitor companies we do not mix stag groups or similar with family groups. Please note 10-13 year olds may not be able to complete all the challenging elements of this route however an easier and alternative option will always be available.
